Absolutely. Your privacy is incredibly important to me. Your boudoir photographs are never shared, posted or used for marketing without your permission. I will always ask before using any of your images on my website, social media, portfolio or anywhere else. If you choose to keep your images completely private, they stay private. No pressure, no awkward conversations and no expectation that you need to let me share them. Your session is also completely private and takes place in my intimate Waco studio. What happens during your boudoir experience stays between us — unless you decide otherwise. Your body. Your images. Your choice.

Because we live in a world that has told women how we should look, act, and feel. A boudoir session helps reclaim some of what has been taken from us, and allows us to own our beautiful selves. I love being able to give that to other womenand help them celebrate their self-love.

The only people who need to know how to pose are professional models - and ME. Your job is to show up and that is it! My job is to help you feel relaxed and pose you from the tips of your fingers, to your eyelashes, to your hair. I’ll walk you through each step as I look through my camera to make sure you look beautiful!

You can do either! You’re welcome to bring your own favorite lingerie, outfits or anything you already feel sexy in. But you definitely don't have to go shopping before your session.I have a VIP client wardrobe in sizes XS–4X, with lingerie, bodysuits, robes, dresses, shoes and accessories for you to choose from. We'll look through everything together and pick pieces that work beautifully for you and the different sets we'll be using. And if you want to bring a few things from home too? Absolutely! I actually love mixing your own pieces with things from the studio wardrobe. You don't need to show up with a suitcase full of lingerie. We'll figure it all out together.

Your boudoir session is a very private, one-on-one experience. It's just you and me during the actual photography portion of your session. Before we begin, you'll have a professional hair and makeup artist with you to get you pampered and photo-ready. Once hair and makeup are finished, your artist heads out and it's just you and me for the rest of your experience. No crowded studio. No audience. No random people walking in and out. Just a private, comfortable space where you can relax, have fun and be completely yourself.

Who gets to see your photos is entirely up to you. I will always ask you as part of my standard operating procedure. You get to choose which photos make it out into the world, or none at all, because boudoir is a commissioned art that shows intimate parts of you and I want you to be in control of that. Many ladies do opt to share at least a few photos, but it is entirely up to you.

I tend to photograph enough photos to show you approximately 40-50 to choose from to make an order, whether it’s a Little Black Book or the Luxury Photo Book. A Little Black Book can show 1-2 photos per spread, and the Luxury Photo Book can hold up to 40 photographs; however many you decide to purchase is up to you!

First, I delete all the blinks, blurs, and other photographs that aren’t up to my artistic standards. They’ll never see the light of day. You won’t see them, either. The photographs you don’t choose will also eventually be deleted to free up space on the hard drive, and I will store purchased photographs for an undetermined amount of time.

All orders are 100% handmade just for you. My contract states 3 weeks from order approval to order delivery. It is well worth the wait, I promise!

Yes! Professional hair and makeup is included with your boudoir session. You don't need to be great at doing your own makeup, and you definitely don't need to know how to style your hair for photos. That's what we're here for! You'll start your experience by getting pampered with professional hair and makeup before we begin your session. Your artist will create a look that feels beautiful, sexy and still like YOU — whether you want soft and natural or a little more glam. And don't worry if you're not used to wearing much makeup. We can keep it soft and pretty, or turn it up a little. This is your day, so we'll make it feel like you. Once hair and makeup are done, we'll move into the fun part — choosing outfits, getting you comfortable and guiding you through everything in front of the camera.

I do! I do require a minimum of $500 booking fee. It covers up to 2 hrs of photography session with 3 outfit changes, your hair and make up, wardrobe planning, pre-session consultation, professional image retouching, and mainly it secures your date in the studio! You can prepay your session ahead of time. You can also apply for a Pay Pal credit before the session or at your in person photo reveal. All payment plans are interest free if paid in 12 months.

At Petra Novak Boudoir, the session fee is $500 for induvidual sessions and $600 for couples session, with artwork and digital images purchased separately. During your consultation, we'll explain all of your options so you can decide what you want to create and invest in.
